I
started to photograph between the years of 1997-1998 when I lived in Stockholm
and studied photography at the Folkuniversitet. In order to learn about light
and do the photographic assignments in the first period of the course, we had
to photograph only with black and white films. So I bought a second hand camera
Canon A1 and a package of the black and white film by Kodak, the Trix-400. The
Trix-400 became later one of my favourites films and in the following
years, during my trips in Europe and back in Rio, I continued to use this film.
